Praying For Others

I hope you enjoyed the wisdom nugget on Praying For Others.  If you want to increase the blessings in your life, pray for one person a day.  It will change your life.  If you don't understand what it means to have a prayer life or ministry, I have just the book for you. The Beginner's Guide To Intercessory Prayer.  Click on the image below to get more information on this book.  If you are wondering why I suggested this book it's because some of us really don't understand what Intercessory Prayer is all about.  So let's start with the basics and the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom on the rest.

In order way to have an effective prayer life you have to get rid of as many distractions in a day as possible.  I agree, it is hard to do.  However, the rewards are amazing.  If people of other religions or cultures can find time to pray, meditate or both, why we as Christians can't.  My philosophy is, I will not be out done by the devil and all his angels. We can't continue to have this spirit of I am out for me first, because I have so much going on.  The enemy will make sure you continue to have something going on everyday of your life.  If you are wondering who will pray for you, if you are praying for others is Jesus not enough.  Trust me, if He has placed someone on your heart to pray for, then someone else just got your name placed on their heart to pray for you.  How powerful is that?

I mentioned doing a Talkshoe show on Friday.  The show will start at 8p.m. There is a link available on the same side as the twitter updates.  I will be hosting a show Friday July 24th, 2009 for one hour.  We will talk more on having an effective prayer life.  Coach Val and I will be taking prayer request during this show.  I want to pray with you for anything you are believing Jesus for. So I hope you will join us on Friday, July 24th at 8p.m.

May the peace of God always rest on your life.
